Well my little guy had his first of TWO pre-school graduations on Wednesday, May 21st! Because our local school district’s kindergarten cut-off is September 1st, and Brody HAD to be LATE and be born on September 6th, he misses the cut-off and has one more year of pre-school!

Even though Brody only attended Ready, Set, Go Preschool since January when we changed schools, he has grown to absolutely love it! He loves his teachers Miss Sandy, Miss Judy, and Miss Libera, and he adores his friends – especially his “Bro” Ethan and his “girlfriend” Maddie. Sadly, many of his friends will be moving on to kindergarten next year, but fortunately, Ethan will be coming back in September so Brody will have his “bro” with him for another year!

The graduation ceremony was VERY cute!! The entire class sang several songs showcasing what they have learned such as songs about colors, spelling, and seasons! Brody was of course a HAM and sang and gestured to all of them. He even threw in a bow after each song… he’s ALWAYS loved being on stage! HAHA!

Even though he still has one more year, I will admit I got teary eyed when they sang their daily “end of class” song for the last time at the ceremony. It made me realize just how quickly the past 4.5 years have gone, how much he as grown and learned, and how soon he will be “off on his own” in the “big school” (What he calls it!) Although there are days when I wish he could go to kindergarten next year, I am secretly happy I get to have him home with me for one more year! I know we both look forward to what next year has to offer during his LAST year of pre-k! Brody 4K before and after DSCN2838 DSCN2827 DSCN2845 DSCN2846 DSCN2849 DSCN2852 DSCN2859 DSCN2861 DSCN2864 DSCN2866
